Yesterday we had an artifact donated to our center for our educational programs, a lower jaw of a sizable animal.

And thanks to James Fiske and others who chimed in on our last WIIW:  Conserved chainmail found at the Hernando de Soto Winter Encampment site in Tallahassee.

3 Responses so far.

  1. I believe it is a fossilized horse jaw.

  2. johnny says:

    A prehistoric horse mandible

  3. It's a horse (of course!). Thanks to EVERYONE for their guesses and comments!
